The guide you have just launched is the presentation
of the international project entitled "Animated Debate - computer
animation workshops - for dysfunctional groups in prospect of developing
European cooperation", which was being accomplished within the confines
of the programme Socrates Minerva. The purpose of the project was
to widely popularize artistic education of the youth who is endangered
with marginalization and the disabled youth, using the communication
technologies.
The presentation is aimed at all the people who are using or would
like to use in the future the possibilities of computers and the Internet
in creative and educational work with children and youth, in school,
out-of-school, or even in home conditions. But first and foremost,
this presentation is adressed to teachers - for them the presentations
of the individual parts of the project were prepared, also considering
the specificity and technical possibilities of school environment.
To use the methods presented in the guide in practice, it is necessary
to have some minimum of knowledge and skills. Below, we show the list
of these most essential ones:
Good
computer use, especially office programmes, web browers, as well as
good use of the most popular web engines and Internet encyclopaedias
Use
of the machines such as a VCR, DVD player, camcorder, digital camera,
and scanner
The
basic skill of using the programmes for digital photo processing and
vector graphic creating - Corel, MsPaint. Ability to use basic
applications for processing and editing video image
Basic
knowledge of photography and film. Experience in the field of traditional
and digital photography

According to the Macromedia company conditions, file installation or
downloading
can be done only at the website www.macromedia.com/go/getflashplayer

www.macromedia.com. Before the installation, you have to accept the
terms and conditions of the licence. The installation in the Internet
Explorer is done online, whereas in Netscape, Opera, or compatible web
browsers you have to download the installation file and launch it in
your computer.
